Boxing, Kicking, Grappling, Groundfight
The application of Siu Lam Wing Chun in the various combat situations.
This course is excellent for cultivating Wing Chun application and preparing for Freefight.
In this course, unarmed combat at five distances is trained. In order to learn to act appropriately in a self-defence situation, we first start in the zero distance – without contact. After that, in the kicking distance, only kicks are possible. Then the striking distance – possibility to strike and block, grappling – clutches and throws, levers and pain points. Finally, we approach ground fighting. The techniques and strategies are first considered separately, later, in the practical situation, we bridge the distances to bring the attacker down.
More and more there is a transfer from form training to unarmed combat. Then the hand form is worked on and updated based on application and experience.
