Breathe consciously, draw strength
Breathing is our constant companion. It's time to pay a little more attention to it. How does my body breathe in motion? How does it breathe at rest? How can I use conscious breathing to energise myself, to concentrate, to deal with anxiety or to reduce (exam) stress?
As a lifelong learner and teacher, I am familiar with the different approaches from Chi Kung, Kung Fu or Middendorf and have always found them helpful, whether in my studies or in my profession as an actress, literary scholar and anthropologist or as a teacher in schools, i.e. as a breath teacher.
In my course, we explore and observe our own breath and find out what is good and helpful through deep and gentle exercises in sitting, standing and lying down.
To answer the question: How can I take exercises into my everyday life?
My programme is aimed at people aged 16 and over.
You will need comfortable clothing and warm socks.
