Siu Lam Wing Chun originated in the Tang family curriculum and includes a unique training tool, the longpole wooden dummy.

On it the longpole techniques are trained, as well as the special step work of the Siu Lam Wing Chun longpole. The wooden dummy is a wooden frame with seven longpole and a shield in the middle.

This unique complex training method was often copied and never achieved.
The form used to be passed only within the Tang family.
