Siu Lam Wing Chun Long Pole (6.5, Luk Dim Bun Gwan) - The supreme discipline in Kung Fu
On July 12 and 13, we invite you to an exclusive introductory workshop to the Siu Lam Wing Chun long pole (Luk Dim Bun Gwan) by Grandmaster Tang Yik. This rare opportunity will be led by Sifu Peter Scholz, a direct student of the Tang family.
The long pole is considered the supreme discipline in Kung Fu - a system is only as good as its long pole form. The Tang family has elevated this discipline to an incomparable level with its unique footwork, lightness and effectiveness. Grandmaster Tang Yik, who was known as the “King of the Long Pole”, lived for many years with Sifu Tang Chun Pak, who passed on this extraordinary form directly to Sifu Peter Scholz. Sifu Wong Wing Keung, another long-time student of GM Tang Yik and specialist in detail work and applicability, also influenced Sifu Scholz's deep understanding of this art.
