Siu Lam Wing Chun at Dragoncup 2024 – Successful fights in Berlin! 🏆
On September 28, 2024, we took part in the Dragoncup in Berlin-Adlershof – an exciting competition in which we competed with our team and five fighters. It was a successful day for Siu Lam Wing Chun! 💥
Our successes:
- 🥇 Maximilian Kraft took 1st place in Sanshou Boxing on mat field 5.
- 🥇 Jakob also fought his way to 1st place in Sanshou Boxing on mat 4.
- 🥈 Theo achieved 2nd place in the Point Fight.
- Two other fighters came in 3rd and 4th place in Sanshou Boxing.
In our current Siu Lam Wing Chun in Combat Sports series, we show how traditional Wing Chun concepts can be successfully applied in competitions.
At the Dragon Cup we were also able to prove impressively that Siu Lam Wing Chun is not just “waving your hands”, as some critics believe, but is an effective and competitive fighting system.
Some viewers of our series commented positively, others expressed doubts about the applicability of Wing Chun in competition. We show in the video how it really works! 🥋💪
