Soeng Gung

The Soeng Gung (Double Force) originated from Yeung Tim and entered the curriculum of the Tang Family via Tang Pok.

The form combines the hand techniques with the special footwork of the Siu Lam Wing Chun and teaches structure and power transmission, speed and softness. It includes training of coordination in space in the eight directions and is an excellent instrument on the way to the successful Siu Lam Wing Chun fighter.

Already six years ago this seminar with Sifu Apolo Chiu from Siu Lam Wing Chun / Shaolin Weng Chun took place in Koblenz on March 7th in 2013. The topic was the Saam Baai Fat handform of the Lo Family curriculum and the basic understanding of what the art really is.

This was only some weeks before my three months trip to Hongkong where I could learn further on the curriculum of the Tang Family.

Momentary we focus again a lot on the Saam Baai Fat handform and I keep in mind what I learned years ago.

Thank you Apolo Chiu Sifu for being friends and for opening a world of understanding the Siu Lam Wing Chun / Shaolin Weng Chun art! 🙏🙏🙏
