Youth training in Siu Lam Wing Chun:
A holistic martial arts education

Youth training at Siu Lam Wing Chun is specifically designed to help young people between the ages of 12 and 17 develop physically and mentally.
We use the golden learning age to adapt existing motor skills to a higher physical ability, while maintaining a high level of coordination.
The courses are aimed at acquiring tactical and specific kung fu knowledge, correcting movement deficits and automating movement sequences.

Training scope

  • Boxing: This promotes quick reflexes and tactical skills through the training of punching techniques.
  • Kickboxing: Combines boxing with kicks, improves flexibility, strength and endurance.
  • Grappling: Focuses on ground fighting and wrestling techniques, important for self-defense at close range.
  • Fitness: Focused on improving general physical condition and health.
  • Traditional Siu Lam Wing Chun hand form Saam Baai Fat: In-depth knowledge of traditional hand techniques and footwork.
  • Self-defense: Effective techniques for defending against attacks and increasing self-confidence.

The training sessions take place 2 to 3 times a week, are 90 minutes long and are designed to give young people a comprehensive martial arts education.
Older teenagers can attend selected adult training sessions to further develop their skills.
